Our agency client is looking for a talented Motion Graphics Designer to join their creative team. The ideal candidate will bring ideas to life through dynamic, thoughtful, and visually compelling animation. This role works across brand systems, campaigns, digital experiences, and internal initiatives partnering closely with creative teams.
This is a contract role, working upto 20 hours a week, hybrid going onsite in San Francisco.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and animate motion graphics for brand systems, campaigns, social and digital assets, explainer videos, pitches, and presentations.
Translate concepts into motion through storyboards, style frames, and polished final execution.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
Maintain consistency with brand and campaign guidelines while ensuring high visual quality and support internal marketing through animated social content, case studies, and agency reels.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Qualifications
Proven5+ years of experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or similar role.
Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics and video editing work and solid understanding of typography, layout, composition, and design systems.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.
Familiarity with video production processes and techniques.
Nice to have: Experience in animation and 3D design.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
