Direct to Consumer Copywriter
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative Copywriter to support the marketing and communication goals of the brand. This role is part of the Creative Copy team and involves working closely with Copywriters, Copy Editors, Designers, and cross-functional marketing partners to produce high-quality, targeted copy.
Responsibilities include writing and editing subscriber emails, push notifications, and additional marketing assets such as brand campaign messaging, paid social media copy, and key art taglines. The ideal candidate has strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop clear, engaging, and action-driving content aligned with brand standards and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and write persuasive copy for various direct-to-consumer marketing materials including emails, social media posts, advertisements, and website content.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create integrated campaigns that align with brand messaging and business objectives.
Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior and preferences, using insights to inform copy direction.
Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic reach.
Perform A/B testing on copy variations to determine the most effective messaging and drive higher conversion rates.
Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Analyze performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of copy and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, English, and/or creative writing preferred
4+ years of copywriting in all forms of consumer-facing writing including expertise in email campaigns.
Strong portfolio showcasing writing samples and successful marketing campaigns.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with SEO principles and techniques for online content optimization.
Understanding of consumer psychology and how it influences buying behavior.
Experience with A/B testing and analytics to drive copy performance.
Proficiency in social media marketing and email marketing strategies.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
