Position Title: Vice President, Strategic Sales

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) / Chief Commercial Officer / CEO

Position Summary

The Vice President, Strategic Sales is responsible for developing and executing enterprise-level sales strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth and expand strategic customer relationships. This role focuses on high-value opportunities, complex sales cycles, and alignment between sales execution and corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Define and execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with corporate growth objectives
Lead sales strategy for key accounts, strategic customers, and enterprise-level opportunities
Partner with executive leadership to identify new markets, verticals, and growth platforms
Drive complex, long-cycle, and multi-stakeholder sales engagements
Oversee strategic account planning, pipeline development, and deal governance
Collaborate with marketing, product, and strategy teams on go-to-market strategy
Support pricing strategy, contract structuring, and negotiation of major deals
Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics
Build and develop high-performing strategic sales and account leadership teams
Represent the company in executive-level customer and partner engagements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
20+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including enterprise or strategic sales
Proven track record of closing large, complex, and high-value deals
Strong understanding of sales strategy, customer economics, and revenue models
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and executive presence
Preferred Experience
Experience in [industry-specific field, e.g., technology, industrial, energy, financial services]
Experience selling to C-suite or enterprise customers
Experience working in multinational or matrixed organizations
