Job Title: Health Care Data Analyst

Type: Full Time

Our Client is seeking a skilled Health Care Data Analyst to support data‑driven decision‑making and help enhance overall health plan performance. In this role, you will lead research, data collection, and comprehensive analysis of health plan metrics to uncover opportunities for cost savings, utilization optimization, customer satisfaction, and competitive growth. You will also serve as a subject matter expert, guiding other analysts and partnering across departments to improve processes and organizational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze health plan data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and performance insights
Support cross‑functional teams with analytical expertise and process improvement recommendations
Document workflows and benchmark against industry best practices
Help stakeholders implement changes and monitor performance outcomes
Contribute as a mentor and resource to peer analysts

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience—8+ years in a relational database environment may substitute)
Strong background working with relational databases (SQL Server or Oracle)
Proficiency with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience in data analysis within a healthcare or managed care setting preferred
Familiarity with SQL, Oracle tools, or GIS/business analytics platforms is an advantage
