About the Opportunity:
The organization provides integrated risk management and compliance solutions to over 5,000 financial institutions nationwide. The Senior Cloud Engineer role involves architecting and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure and AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure and AWS
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline
• Implement and optimize containerized applications using AKS, EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, and AWS CloudFormation
• Implement observability solutions using Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and similar tools
• Provision and maintain AI service infrastructure with high availability of model endpoints
• Design and manage message queuing systems using RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, AWS SQS/SNS, and others
• Optimize cloud storage solutions across Azure and AWS platforms
• Implement security best practices including IAM, secrets management, certificate lifecycle management, and network security
• Perform performance tuning, load testing, and capacity planning
• Conduct incident response, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
• Collaborate with development teams to support application infrastructure requirements
• Mentor L1, L2, and L3 engineers on cloud technologies and best practices
• Contribute to infrastructure standards, documentation, and runbook development
• Support disaster recovery planning and backup/restore procedures with testing and validation
• Monitor and optimize cloud spending through FinOps practices
• Support mission-critical production workloads on both Azure and AWS platforms daily
Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles with proven technical expertise
• Strong proficiency in both Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, and CloudFormation
• Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline
• Knowledge of container orchestration with AKS, EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, and AWS CloudWatch
• Familiarity with AI service infrastructure provisioning and management
• Experience managing message queuing systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and AWS SQS/SNS
• Strong understanding of cloud storage solutions on Azure and AWS
• Proven skills in implementing cloud security best practices including IAM, secrets management, and network security
• Ability to perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident response
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to infrastructure standards
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and FinOps cost optimization
