Up to £530 per day | Inside IR35

6 months | London (hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced User Researcher to join a large-scale banking transformation programme.

This is a hands-on role for someone confident operating end-to-end, partnering closely with designers, product, and senior stakeholders to ensure research genuinely shapes decisions and outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

Leading end-to-end user research across multiple initiatives, managing priorities and pace
Planning and delivering usability testing (moderated & unmoderated) plus wider qualitative and quantitative methods
Working day-to-day with UX/UI designers to embed research into design and delivery
Translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product and business decisions
Challenging assumptions and championing user-centred thinking across teams
Engaging confidently with senior stakeholders within a regulated banking environment

What we’re looking for

Strong experience as a User Researcher in complex, design-led organisations
Proven background delivering research within banking or financial services
Comfortable working independently, from scoping through to insight and impact
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience influencing both design and strategic direction
