Senior Counsel (FTC) - Fintech

The company

A rapidly growing top tier fintech business. This is one of the fastest growing companies in its field and has already achieved unicorn status. This position will essentially help facilitate key strategic deals, be a leading example to the wider in-house team help launch new products into new markets.

The role

The business is currently seeking a Senior Counsel (covering a maternity leave) to act as number two to the Head of Legal.

Responsibilities include:

A commercial and legal position advising a fast growing business on a variety of commercial matters, particularly complex technology (Saas and cloud) contracts
Supporting the GC and helping to mentor and develop a legal counsel.
Working with product teams on new propositions.
Advising on data privacy matters related to technology transactions.

About you

UK/US Qualified with top tier background
Must have significant technology transactional experience, ideally on sell side
Fintech experience a plus but not essential
PQE Guide circa 5 years + (this is a guide only)
