Business Analyst – IT & Business Change

Location: Stoke (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 + Benefits

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a growing Change function within a leading organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering both IT and Business Change initiatives, helping shape the future of critical services that support millions of customers.

Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery partners to understand business needs, define solutions, and support successful project delivery. This role offers excellent exposure to strategic transformation programmes as well as operational improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements across IT and business change projects
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
Support solution design and ensure alignment with business objectives
Work closely with project managers, product owners, and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
Map and analyse business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
Support change impact assessments and contribute to successful implementation and adoption
Ensure documentation and governance standards are maintained

About You

Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on IT and Business Change initiatives
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working within structured delivery environments (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business analysis techniques
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience within Utilities, Energy, or regulated industries (desirable but not essential)
