Job title - Salesforce Developer (Software Engineer 3)
Work Location
Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Austin, TX
Candidate must already live in Austin, TX (no relocation)
Role Overview
Senior Salesforce Developer responsible for designing, building, and supporting Salesforce solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment. Work includes hands-on development, configuration (declarative), integrations, documentation, troubleshooting, and production support.
Must-Have Skills (Required)
8+ years Salesforce development experience: Apex, Visualforce, Apex Triggers, Aura Components, Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Strong Salesforce configuration experience: Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules (declarative / no-code)
Strong SDLC experience: coding standards, change control, version management
Salesforce architecture experience: secure, high-performance solutions on Force.com platform
End-to-end Salesforce program experience: Classic to Lightning upgrades, data migrations, integrations, 3rd-party apps, custom development
Integration experience: REST/SOAP APIs; JSON/XML; OAuth authentication
Core web technologies: HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud and on-prem applications using standard/custom REST APIs
Preferred Skills
DevOps/CI/CD experience (Flosum, Git)
Experience building Salesforce reports and dashboards
Agile/Scrum experience
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions (Apex, Visualforce, Aura, LWC)
Build declarative automation (Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules)
Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP and OAuth
Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, standups, refinement, reviews)
Write technical documentation and specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments; perform root-cause analysis
Perform code reviews, unit testing, defect fixes, and performance tuning
Support CI/CD and release/deployment activities
Provide production support/on-call as needed
Build/maintain custom reports and dashboards
