Responsibilities

Job description:

Plan, design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and document applications to meet business requirements
Modify and maintain existing applications
Provide technical support to end users for applications
Build, maintain, troubleshoot production and test web servers and database servers
Develop applications to work with peripherals (label printers, scanners)
Communicate with both internal and external personnel including employees and product manufacturers
Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Qualifications

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Software Engineering or Software Development
5 years of experience in a similar role with preference from a manufacturing environment
ASP.NET (C# and VB.NET), Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Visual Studio and MySQL
Web services, XML, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS
Understanding of OO techniques and relational data models
Subversion and TFS version control
Superb attention to detail
Strong math skills
