Account Executive / BD

Auxo is hiring an Account Executive / BD for a Montreal-based WealthTech startup building a modern portfolio management platform for financial institutions and family offices.
You’ll drive new business with private banks, advisors, and investment teams, while helping shape a go-to-market motion that’s still in its early stages. This is a high-ownership, senior IC role ideal for someone who knows how to navigate multi-stakeholder deals, uncover real pain points, and drive momentum from discovery to close.
As one of the first GTM hires, you’ll also play a short-term role in customer success - supporting current clients, increasing adoption, and surfacing expansion opportunities - while the team builds out the function.
What You’ll Do
Build and manage a high-priority book of strategic accounts across Canada and international markets
Lead discovery, pitch to stakeholders across investment, compliance, operations, and IT, and tailor demos to each stage of the deal
Research accounts, map stakeholders, add key contacts, and maintain account intelligence and pipeline health
Work closely with product and leadership on proposals, pricing, and competitive positioning
Collaborate on outbound strategy, messaging, and regional campaign ideas
Own the full deal cycle - coordinate follow-ups, define next steps, and drive clear close plans
Initially support CS for current clients - manage follow-ups, run check-ins, and identify expansion and renewal opportunities
Be a strong internal voice of the customer - share structured feedback that improves product, positioning, and conversion
Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM discipline
Who You Are
Proven AE or BD experience with 3–5+ years in SaaS, fintech, or financial services
Skilled at running outbound and high-quality discovery with senior stakeholders
Curious and motivated to learn about wealth management, portfolio tools, or investment workflows
Confident communicator with a polished, professional presence
Goal-oriented, organized, and comfortable running your own operating cadence
Enjoys small-team environments where ambiguity turns into ownership
Fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
Based in Montreal and open to hybrid work with occasional travel
