Hiring: Senior Business Analyst (Hybrid - Bessemer, AL)

Role Overview

We are seeking a data-driven Business Analyst to join our team in Bessemer, AL. This is a full-time, hybrid role designed for a professional who excels at turning complex datasets into actionable business intelligence. You will serve as a key partner to our leadership team, utilizing SQL and Power BI to drive operational excellence and support our EOS management model.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain sophisticated reporting and departmental dashboards using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and SSRS.
Strategic Insights: Provide analytical support for leadership decision-making, specifically focusing on profitability trends and cost-saving opportunities.
Data Integrity: Perform quality assurance on data imports and collaborate with IT/BI leadership to ensure high standards of data integrity.
Process Improvement: Identify and execute data automation opportunities to streamline workflows across departments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Systems and Project teams to capture data and develop enhancements that improve our operational capabilities.
Logistics Optimization: Utilize analytical tools, including routing software, to identify and implement cost-efficiency strategies.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in data analysis and reporting.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Technical Skills: * 3+ years of professional SQL experience.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proven experience in Power BI development.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to translate technical data for non-technical stakeholders.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, business-savvy, and a collaborative team player.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Microsoft Flow (Power Automate) or other process automation tools.
Professional background within the Operations or Logistics industry.
