Mercedes-Benz USA VCA Junior Associate Consultant (JAC) Overview and Responsibilities

Vehicle Compliance and Analysis (“VCA”) is responsible for vehicle compliance across the Mercedes-Benz USA portfolio of cars and light trucks. This includes, but is not limited to, government compliance reporting, emissions and safety certification, quality campaigns, VPC actions, and product analysis activities.

Responsibilities

Support the VCA Safety and Emissions teams with the development, management and execution of the various governmental reporting requirements to ensure timely submission to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) , Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) and California Air Resources Board (“CARB”). Assist the Safety team with Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability, and Documentation (“TREAD”) Act, assist in ad-hoc reports, and campaign launch activities.
Help in the coordination, creation and dissemination of Recall and Service campaigns to affected parties and in the respective outreach activities.
Assist the Emissions team with data collection and analysis to support compliance and reporting. The candidate will need to possess skills to assess and analyze large volumes of data to assist management to streamline processes and procedures. The candidate will also be responsible for the creation of training and presentation materials to effectively communicate ad-hoc topics to management for the safety and emission teams.
Perform vehicle testing and assist with work instruction review and updates prior to campaign release.
Candidate will be required to use data to analyze complex scenarios for campaign launch activities and be able to create a dashboard for field use.

Qualifikationen

Required Qualifications

Undergrad - Rising juniors and seniors -*Preferred Data Analytics and Engineering Background
Available from March 2026 - March 2027
Hybrid in-person schedule 3 days weekly, up to 28 hours maximum
Available during core working hours of 10 AM - 3 PM Eastern

Preferred Skillset

Excel (data preparation and analysis)
PowerBI knowledge
Power Automate
Microsoft Office
Time management skills
