Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Project Manager - IT III to join our clientin support of an existingvacancy.
Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $78 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday-Friday;Core Business Hours
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, track, and manage project budgets, plans, timelines, and scope
Manage project resources, including procuring staff, motivating, coaching, and advising team members
Collaborate with functional project teams to define business requirements
Lead development teams in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
Define and oversee test plans to ensure products are defect-free prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Facilitate UAT processes and develop rollout plans and procedures
Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to stakeholders
Ensure adherence to systems development and project management best practices
Present updates and recommendations to steering committees or project sponsors
Experience & Qualification Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
PMP or PMI certification required
5-7 years of proven project management experience
Strong people management and team-building skills
Ability to adapt and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
Quick learner of business processes and effective collaborator with stakeholders at all levels
Strong risk assessment and management skills for technology applications and business functions
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments
Organization skills
