The Enterprise Sales Architect is responsible for defining and delivering end-to-end technical strategies for large, complex enterprise solutions. This role combines a broad understanding of Bell’s core service offerings—Network, Security, Data Centre, Collaboration, Contact Centre, and Mobility—with emerging technologies from Bell’s tech services portfolio (AI Fabric, Ateko, BellCyber). The Enterprise Architect ensures solutions are architecturally sound, scalable, and aligned with client objectives while meeting compliance and operational requirements.

Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the Enterprise Architect provides technical leadership, develops solution roadmaps, and supports business development activities. The role requires strong technical judgment, financial acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture: Design and validate end-to-end technical solutions for large enterprise opportunities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Bell standards.
Technology Roadmaps: Develop account-specific technology strategies that support client objectives and future-state architectures.
Financial Analysis: Evaluate solutions for total cost of ownership (TCO), return on investment (ROI), and consumption forecasting.
Collaboration: Work with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are consistent, compliant, and optimized for performance and cost.
Customer Engagement: Present technical solutions and recommendations to clients, focusing on business outcomes and operational feasibility.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout solution design and implementation.
Portfolio Expertise: Maintain knowledge of Bell’s service portfolio and emerging technologies to guide solution design and innovation.
Governance: Ensure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
Support pre-sales activities, including demos, workshops, and RFP responses.

Critical Qualifications

Proven experience in solution or enterprise architecture for large, complex deals.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Broad technical knowledge across traditional IT domains and modern cloud/SaaS platforms.
Financial analysis and solution modeling experience.
Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities in high-pressure environments.
Vendor relationship management and integration of best-of-breed technologies.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
A Government of Canada PSPC security clearance at level SECRET (Level II) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Engineering degree in Computer Communications or equivalent experience.
8+ years in architecture or IT strategy roles for large enterprises.
Technology certifications (e.g., CCNP, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, ServiceNow) are assets
Industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, CDTP, SAFe, TOGAF) are assets
Deep expertise in at least two of the following domains: Network, Voice/UC, Security, Data Centre, Contact Centre, IoT.
Strong knowledge of IP networking and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SIP, MPLS, etc.).
Familiarity with Cloud and Data Center solutions
Bilingualism required:

In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
