Job Description: Digital Marketing Lead

Prospect 13 is growing and we are looking for someone to own digital performance and drive commercial growth across our client base.
THE ROLE:
As Digital Marketing Lead, you will shape and deliver digital strategies that drive measurable commercial results for our clients. You’ll have the autonomy to turn client objectives into high-performing campaigns, continuously optimise performance, and clearly demonstrate impact through data.
You’ll join a close-knit, ambitious team and report to Marketing Manager, Ashleigh Walker and work closely alongside Digital Marketer, Annie Buchan, taking full ownership of digital delivery across the client base.
Alongside delivery, you’ll also play a key part in influencing strategy, strengthening processes and ensuring our clients see tangible returns from their marketing investment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Own digital performance across a diverse client portfolio, with clear accountability for lead generation, conversion improvement and measurable commercial growth.
Translate business objectives into structured digital growth strategies, combining paid, organic, content, search and automation to deliver integrated performance.
Lead campaign planning and execution across platforms including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta and emerging channels, continually optimising based on data and user behaviour.
Embed data and insight into decision-making, leveraging tools such as GA4, Microsoft Clarity, search data, AI-driven analysis and CRM reporting to improve ROI and conversion rates.
Champion smarter use of AI and automation, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scale content and enhance campaign effectiveness without compromising quality.
Own website project management end-to-end, including scoping, timelines, content planning, stakeholder coordination and quality control, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
Oversee website performance and optimisation, working closely with our Web Developer to ensure sites are conversion-led, technically sound, search-optimised and aligned with user intent.
Lead website launch process, managing third-party hosting providers, domain configurations and DNS records, and ensuring all tracking, security and performance elements are fully implemented prior to go-live.
Own SEO strategy, including search intent mapping, technical recommendations and content optimisation aligned to evolving search behaviours (AEO / AI search environments).
Develop high-value digital content strategies that position clients as leaders in their markets, including thought leadership, case studies, gated assets and conversion-led content journeys.
Mentor junior members of the team, setting clear standards for delivery, reporting and client communication.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, confidently presenting strategy, performance insights and recommendations that drive growth.
Contribute to the growth of Prospect 13, strengthening our digital proposition, refining processes and enhancing how we deliver measurable value.
ABOUT YOU:
You’ll have the natural ability to build strong, trusted relationships with clients, colleagues and partners, be commercially aware, confident in conversation and comfortable advising, challenging and guiding clients when needed.
As Digital Marketing Lead, you’ll combine creativity with precision, you’ll think strategically but also care deeply about execution. A proven track record improving lead generation, conversion and ROI;
Confidence presenting strategy and backing your recommendations with data;
Strong expertise across paid media, SEO, GA4 or equivalent analytics platforms and marketing automation;
A solid understanding of website user journeys and conversion psychology, not just publishing content;
