Job Specifications
Akkodis is seeking a motivated Jr. Software Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in front-end development to join our team in Tucker, Georgia. This is an onsite, contract-to-hire role offering the opportunity to grow your technical skills within a collaborative Windows-based development environment.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, comfortable working with established UI frameworks, and able to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of user-facing web features.
Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, and other factors.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance front-end components for web-based applications.
Implement responsive UI design using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and related front-end technologies.
Work with JSON data structures for API integrations and dynamic content updates.
Collaborate with designers, senior engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality user interfaces.
Test, troubleshoot, and debug issues in a Windows shop environment.
Assist in documenting technical processes, code standards, and application components.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Support existing applications while learning and adapting to new front-end technologies.
Experience:
• 1–3 years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack software development.
• Proficiency in:
JavaScript (ES5/ES6+)
jQuery
Bootstrap
JSON
• Experience working in a Windows-based development environment (e.g., Visual Studio, IIS, Windows OS).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
