Job Specifications

The Corporate Visual Merchandising Coordinator plays a crucial role in creating and maintaining visually appealing and effective displays that enhance the customer experience and drive sales. This position is responsible for coordinating the execution of visual merchandising strategies across retail locations, ensuring brand standards are met, managing samples for the studio, and supporting the overall aesthetic goals of the company.

This is a fully onsite contract position in NYC. Please only local candidates apply. The rate for this role is $29hr.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with implementing visual merchandising strategies and guidelines across retail locations.
Set up and maintain attractive and engaging product displays that align with brand standards and seasonal themes.
Ensure visual presentation is consistent with promotional and marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager and other team members to plan and execute visual merchandising initiatives.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement and delivery of visual merchandising materials and props.
Assess and provide feedback on the effectiveness of visual displays and suggest improvements as needed.
Address any visual merchandising issues promptly and ensure timely resolutions.
Provide hands-on support and guidance during major store resets, remodels, or seasonal changes.
Track and manage inventory of visual merchandising materials and props.
Assist in the development of visual merchandising reports, including performance metrics and analysis of display effectiveness.
Provide input on visual merchandising strategies based on store performance and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in visual merchandising, can be internship experience.
Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and retail best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Ability to lift and move visual merchandising materials and fixtures.
