Job Title: R&D Project Manager
Pay Rate: $46 to $50/hr
Duration: 12 months
Location: Issaquah, WA (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office. First couple of months mostly onsite for onboarding)
Work Hours & Flexibility :
Standard: 8 AM–5 PM PT
Occasionally may need to attend meetings with Korea at 5–6 PM PT
The schedule can be adjusted earlier in the day to avoid overtime
This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to organize, plan, and execute new releases and or EOL activities of our premium Ultrasound products. The project manager will lead a cross-functional team with overall responsibility for all activities related to the project, from schedule and budget to the design transfer and commercialization.
Activity and resource planning for the project. Work closely with all development teams, including Software, Hardware, System, Ultrasound Engineers, Acoustic Engineers, transducer, product management and clinical to define, develop and maintain the development schedule and resource plan.
Work closely with manufacturing and procurement teams to organize, manage, and complete all design transfer activities.
Work closely with marketing, regulatory, service, and manufacturing teams to define, develop and maintain a commercialization plan included in the overall project plan.
Estimate, develop and maintain project budget.
Ensuring quality and customer satisfaction by following all regulations, standards, and company processes throughout all phases of the project.
Evaluate, analyze, and manage project risks. Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide effective mitigations.
Provide clear and timely communication to the management team and stakeholders on a regular basis.
Monitor project progress and team performance and provide regular reports to the management team and stakeholders.
Organize and motivate the team to meet the project goals.
Work closely with sustaining teams to plan, develop, and release all sustaining changes.
Requirments:
BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of project management experience
Experience in medical devices
Project management experience with Software, Hardware, and Medical Devices, class II or class III
Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Projects or equivalent project management tool
Capability to build project plans, resource planning, and budget planning
Strong communication skills
Experience working with global teams
Solid project management background
Effective and collaborative English communication skills (both written and verbal)
Nice to Have:
PMP certification
Engineering degree (any discipline)
Experience with Microsoft Project (nice to have)
Tools used: Power BI, Monday.com

Establish milestones for EOL activities
Execute against the EOL roadmap
May need to create new processes for EOL workflows
