Source One Technical Solutions is helping an autonomous vehicle manufacturing company find a Supply Chain, Inventory Analyst to manage material availability from suppliers and ensure uninterrupted production assembly.

In this role, you’ll serve as the primary interface between manufacturing, supply chain planning, and suppliers to release and monitor purchase orders, maintain accurate MRP data, and ensure materials are delivered on time and in full. You’ll play a critical role in supporting production continuity, inventory health, and supplier performance.

Expected pay: $71.60 USD Per Hour

Length of contract: Ongoing TBD

Schedule: Full time Contract

Duties:

Generate and manage purchase orders in SAP (MRP), ensuring accurate material requirements and due dates.
Monitor supplier performance and communicate delivery status, delays, and risks to production teams.
Maintain accurate material master data, logistics data, and supply parameters within ERP systems.
Review shortages and inventory health against production schedules and implement mitigation plans.
Coordinate shipments and ensure all required documentation is completed prior to delivery.
Validate MRP demand and supply alignment, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
Manage new part introductions, BOM updates, and procurement of new materials.
Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain variances and implement corrective actions.
Support order management processes, supplier payments, and cross-functional coordination.
Travel occasionally to support site collaboration or training as needed.
Determine the required materials and generate purchase orders in SAP MRP system Update Material Due dates in MRP and communicate delivery dates to production team.
Monitor and report delays, changes, etc.
Work with suppliers and other departments to ensure consistent & timely supply.
Ensure Part Numbers, Quantities, due dates are accurate and needed.
Understand production goals, Material Readiness Dates, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
Accountable for Material Planning, Logistics master data and payment processing through SAP MRP Review out of stock situations or shortage of supply issues in order to execute mitigating actions Coordinate shipment schedules, including timely organization of all required documentation needed prior to shipment.
Understand Inventory health as it relates to the Production Schedule to evaluate resupply dates.
Ensure timely delivery of parts to meet and ensure no production stoppages.
Execute the Order Management processes.
Validate MRP demand vs. supply data is correct and perform reconciliation if needed.
Identify and manage new parts and BOMs.
Purchase New Material as needed Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and perform corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence.
Manage material availability from vendors to support production assembly.
Act as the interface to manufacturing and supply chain planning teams to release and monitor new Purchase Orders and ensure supplier performance to plan.
Coordinate with cross functional teams to validate supply parameters, ensuring timely delivery of material and executing support functions related to the purchase contract.

Required skills:

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum 6 to 8 years of professional experience within Purchasing, Production and inventory management.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in material planning within fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated experience with contracts, purchasing and inventory management, technical materials, electrical components, PCBA’s, harnesses, and machined parts.
Excellent analytical skills MRP System experience - SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and drive process improvement.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives.
Advanced knowledge of production control management.
