Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Solutions Developer V to join our clientin support of an existingvacancy.
Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $84 per hour
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Location Type: Hybrid; Open to candidates for 3 Locations
Business Hours: Monday-Friday;Core Business Hours
Training: 1 Week Approx.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
Build responsive user interfaces with React
Design and implement RESTful APIs
Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other developers
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Participate in code reviews and agile development processes
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Experience & Qualification Requirement:
Computer science degree
8+ Years of IT Developer Experience
Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js
Proficient in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with RESTful API design and integration
Familiarity with database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Understanding of version control systems (Git)
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
Background screening is required as part of the onboarding process. The type of screening required (criminal or other verifications) will vary based on the position and client requirements.
