Job Title: Salesforce Architect – Public Sector Solutions

Location: NYC, NY

Hybrid: 2-3 days/weekly office

Experience Required: 15–25 Years

Industry Focus: Government / Public Sector

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) to design and deliver scalable, secure, and compliance-driven solutions for government agencies. This role will lead end-to-end architecture initiatives across citizen services, licensing, case management, and digital transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design scalable Salesforce architectures using Public Sector Solutions, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, and Flow
Architect solutions for Licensing, Permits & Inspections, Grants Management, Benefits & Eligibility, and Citizen Portals
Define secure data models and integration strategies aligned with public sector compliance standards
Lead integrations with ERP, IAM systems, payment gateways, and legacy government platforms
Establish best practices across Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, and declarative automation
Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, SOC 2, GDPR/CCPA, and government data regulations
Act as trusted advisor to program managers and public sector stakeholders

Required Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (Mandatory)
5+ years working with Government/Public Sector clients
Expertise in OmniStudio (FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
Deep understanding of Salesforce security architecture and governance
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and MuleSoft
Proven background in enterprise integration and data architecture

Preferred Certifications:

Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional
Integration Architecture Designer
Data Architecture & Management Designer
Platform Developer II

Nice to Have:

FedRAMP environment experience
Grants Management / HHS project exposure
WCAG accessibility compliance experience
Agile / SAFe delivery experience
