iOS Developer (Contract)

London (2 days onsite)

£400 per day (Inside IR35)

⏳ 6-month contract

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join a high-performing mobile engineering team delivering secure, scalable, and customer-focused applications within a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Design and build robust applications for the iOS platform with a strong focus on performance, responsiveness, and user experience
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
Maintain high standards of code quality, structure, and reusability using appropriate design patterns
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices
Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimisation
Troubleshoot bottlenecks and resolve bugs related to performance and integration
Apply Agile methodologies to backlog-driven development
Stay up to date with the latest iOS technologies, tools, and best practices

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong experience with iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI
Experience with Swift Package Manager
Solid experience working with iOS frameworks and integrating external SDKs
Strong understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, and SwiftUI unidirectional data flow
Knowledge of Apple design principles, UI guidelines, and accessibility standards
Experience using performance and memory management tools (Instruments)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab)
Experience working within Agile development environments
