Job title: C Application Developer

Location: Montreal, Quebec, H4M 2X4

Work Model: Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week

Duration: Contract(Long Term Contract)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled C Application Developer to support smart building alarm systems projects, working primarily with large and robust legacy C codebases. This role involves enhancement, debugging, optimization, and modernization of existing applications.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of experience in C programming
Strong experience working with large-scale, complex, and legacy C codebases
Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
Experience in maintaining, enhancing, and refactoring existing applications
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance existing C-based applications
Debug, analyze, and optimize large legacy systems
Implement new features and system improvements
Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams
Perform testing, documentation, and support activities
