Job Specifications

Network Infrastructure Technician

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 6 Months Contract with Ext

Clearance: Active Public Trust required

Need Local candidates you can work on W2

Key Responsibilities

Move, stage, rack, and mount network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls)

Install and remove copper and fiber cabling

Perform cable management and labeling

Assist with Layer 1 and basic Layer 2 checks (link status, port connectivity)

Support cutover and migration activities

Maintain clean and organized network closets and racks

Follow change management and safety procedures

Required Qualifications

Experience with network equipment installation and rack/stack

Strong knowledge of Ethernet cabling and patch panels

Understanding of LAN Layer 1/Layer 2 concepts

Experience working in data centers or network closets

Ability to safely lift and handle network equipment

Preferred Qualifications

Data center or office migration experience

Familiarity with Cisco and/or Aruba hardware

Fiber cabling experience
