Role Overview
The team is seeking a Platform Operator / AMS resource with strong IT operations, platform reliability, and DevOps exposure to support and operate an existing cloud-based platform. Development work is minimal and secondary to operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Platform Operations & Maintenance
• Oversee the technical management and daily operations of the AEM Assets Cloud platform.
• Monitor AEM Assets system performance (compute services, orchestration, replication, CDN usage, storage).
• Troubleshoot platform issues, coordinate fixes with engineering and support teams, and ensure optimal uptime and availability.
• Manage platform configuration, user access, and environment health across author, preview, and publish tiers (leveraging AEM Cloud Manager CI/CD).
2. Governance, Security & Compliance
• Implement and enforce cloud platform governance, including asset lifecycle policy, metadata standards, and compliance with enterprise and industry security guidelines.
• Maintain role‑based access controls and user entitlement management via IMS (Identity Management Service).
• Support audit requirements through logs, monitoring, reporting, and platform usage reviews.
3. Monitoring & Incident Management
• Maintain active monitoring of cloud system health, asset processing pipelines, workflows, and integrations.
• Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analyses, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with Cloud Service providers and internal SRE/DevOps teams when escalations arise (aligned with Adobe cloud operations responsibilities).
4. Workflow, Automation & Efficiency
• Support and optimize AEM workflows used for creative production, processing, approvals, and delivery.
• Develop and implement automations and light orchestration to increase operational efficiency across cloud components.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of the Assets Compute services (e.g., image/video renditions, Sensei‑powered metadata extraction).
5. Integrations & Ecosystem Support
• Maintain integrations across Adobe Creative Cloud, Workfront, Workfront Fusion, Marketing systems, and external platforms (as referenced in AEM Assets on Cloud RACI).
• Ensure stability of API‑driven and Cloud Manager–based CI/CD interactions with AEM Assets environments.
• Collaborate with partner teams when new integrations or enhancements are required.
6. User Support & Enablement
• Provide technical support to users requiring access, troubleshooting, or workflow guidance.
• Assist content authors, librarians, activation leads, and creative teams with platform operations (based on enterprise RACI roles).
• Support training, onboarding, best‑practice documentation, and platform communications.
Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills
• Hands‑on experience with AEM Assets as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, and Adobe Admin Console.
• Understanding of cloud‑native architecture, autoscaling, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with DAM best practices (metadata, taxonomy, workflows, governance).
• Ability to interpret logs, troubleshoot platform errors, and analyze performance metrics.
• Knowledge of Adobe Sensei automation capabilities and asset processing pipelines. Soft Skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise operations for digital asset management platforms.

• Exposure to SRE/DevOps patterns for cloud services, including monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD.
