Clinical Research Nurse – Make a Real Impact in Advancing Healthcare

As a Clinical Research Nurse, you’ll combine your clinical expertise with meaningful research impact — all within a supportive, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the nursing side of clinical trials from start‑up to close‑out, ensuring everything runs smoothly and adheres to ICH/GCP standards.
Be the expert at Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), staying up to date with evolving study protocols.
Engage potential participants through PIV visits, clearly explaining the study and helping them make informed decisions.
Build lasting relationships with patients, keeping them motivated and supported throughout their journey to maximise retention.
Own the accuracy of study data, meticulously documenting information in source notes, CRF/eCRF systems and all associated records.
Create a warm, professional clinic atmosphere where participants feel welcome and staff feel supported.
Stay on top of data queries, resolving them quickly and confidently.
Be prepared for emergencies, responding swiftly and effectively when situations arise.
Take responsibility for emergency equipment, including regular checks of the emergency trolley.
Carry out lab tasks when required — bringing your clinical skills into the research setting.
Champion data privacy, always working in line with GDPR and regulatory requirements.
Stay current with training, SOPs/COPs and industry standards, continuously building your expertise.

Who You Are

A registered NMC Nurse with an unrestricted licence to practise.
Someone with at least 2 years’ post‑registration experience — confident in patient care and clinical decision‑making.
Experienced in clinical research (or eager to build this experience — desirable, not essential!).
A strong team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment.
Self‑driven, organised, and ready to take ownership of your workload.
Passionate about delivering high‑quality care while contributing to something bigger.
