Interim Financial Controller

Property | Multi entity environment

Central London | Hybrid | 3 - 6 months

£500 to £550 per day | Inside IR35

We’re working with a growing property business to hire an Interim Financial Controller.

Operating across a multi entity structure, the business is at a key stage where finance needs strong leadership, tighter controls and clear reporting.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will stabilise, strengthen and elevate the finance function during an important growth phase.

WISH LIST

Strong background in financial control, reporting and process improvement
Experience operating in a multi entity structure
Experience within an SME finance function
Comfortable running a disciplined month end in a scaling environment
Confident partnering senior stakeholders
Willingness to add value and improve processes and controls

THE ROLE

Own and deliver a clean, timely month end close
Lead production of monthly management accounts and board reporting
Strengthen financial controls and balance sheet discipline
Oversee reconciliations and core ledger accuracy across multiple entities
Support budgeting and forecasting alongside FP&A
Deliver variance analysis and clear commentary to senior leadership
Work closely with external advisors and auditors
Support audit, compliance and statutory reporting processes
Improve systems, reporting standards and finance processes

YOUR PROFILE

Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Proven experience operating at Financial Controller level within an SME or scaling business
Strong multi entity experience
Technically strong with a practical, hands on mindset
Available immediately or on short notice

DAY RATE & DETAILS

£500 to £550 per day
Inside IR35
Hybrid working – Central London
3 to 6 month interim assignment
Immediate start preferred (Happy to wait a weeks notice)
