We’re working with a leading and rapidly expanding provider of student accommodation who are seeking a Client Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their finance & accounting career in a commercial and fast-paced environment, gaining exposure to a large property portfolio and working closely with both clients and senior stakeholders.

The Role

You will play a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and driving performance across a portfolio of student accommodation assets. Responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of properties from a finance perspective, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
Preparing monthly and quarterly management packs, including full P&L forecasts, variance analysis and commentary

Assisting with onboarding and integration of new sites into the accounting system
Producing financial models and analysis to aid strategic planning, including scenario analysis and forecasting
Liaising with clients, senior managers and external stakeholders to respond to queries and provide insight

What we're looking for:

Proven analytical ability, with strong financial modelling experience
Advanced Excel skills, including building models from scratch (P&L, scenario analysis, overhead reporting)
Experience working with large data sets and producing accurate results under tight deadlines
Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Strong team player, adaptable to changing requirements and confident working across multiple departments
Previous experience within property, real estate, or multi-site operations would be advantageous but not essential
Actively progressing towards CIMA / ACCA qualification is desirable

Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing national organisation with ambitious plans for the future. You’ll gain exposure to a complex, multi-site business model, take ownership of client relationships, and be part of a collaborative team where career progression and development are fully supported. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

If you are ready to take the next step in your finance career and thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, we would love to hear from you.
