About The Role
The Disney Experiences Communications Events team plans, develops, and produces events of varying sizes and complexities to support communications-focused initiatives across Disney Consumer Products.
This internship will involve working on projects supporting Communications Events for Disney Consumer Products, with a focus on campaigns outside the park. The role requires strategic thinking, strong project management skills, and the ability to prioritize. Through close collaboration with internal and external partners, you will help support events that deliver exceptional results aligned with communications goals, objectives, and strategies. The intern will report to the Manager, Events.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Glendale, California, from June 2026 through January 2027.
What You Will Do
In this role, the individual will be involved in a wide variety of event planning activities, including but not limited to the following:
Be a collective participant in the conceptualization of business-driving events for the Disney Consumer Products organization
Collaborate with both internal and external partners to help develop and implement events of various sizes and complexities
Provide support throughout the event development process, all the way through event execution
Make valuable contributions to the success of the team by assisting in developing, updating, and prioritizing key project/event planning documents such as agendas, itineraries, tracking grids, presentations, and more

It Would Also Be Great If You Have/Are Familiar With
A zeal for the Disney brand and culture
Knowledge and experience working within the events space
Prior experience working within a professional environment
A curiosity about the current media landscape and how it drives reputation and business results
A desire to participate in creative storytelling through event design and guest experiences
Education
Senior year preferred
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management/events, project management, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related major

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through January 2027
Fully available from Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Pacific Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week, and be flexible, as schedules could occasionally include nights or weekends
Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, California, area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
