Job Title: Marketing Operations Intern (WSE&DACH)
Department: Euro MKT
Location: Hybrid, France – Paris preferred
Term: 6 months
Authority / purpose of the position
The Regional Marketing Intern will support the Regional Marketing Managers in executing offline and online marketing activities across the WSE and DACH regions. This role focuses on regional event execution, digital and social media campaigns, and coordination with sales, partners, and global teams. The intern will gain hands-on experience in marketing operations within the life sciences industry.
Main Responsibility/ Job Expectations
1.Event Preparation & Execution:
Support preparation and execution of regional offline events, including event material selection, shipping and delivery tracking, timeline management, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth logistics and timely delivery.
Assist with on-site event support, including booth setup and dismantling, coordination of materials, and ensuring all logistical elements are in place and aligned with event requirements.
Assist with post-event follow-up, including confirmation of materials status, consolidation of event-related information, coordination of lead data, and preparation of basic post-event summaries to support internal review.
2.Lead Collection & Management
Support on-site lead capture during events, including coordinating lead collection tools and ensuring accurate information is collected from participants.
Assist with post-event lead consolidation and upload, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and basic quality checks before handover.
Support lead summary preparation, including basic analysis of lead volume and categorization, and coordination with the sales team for follow-up.
3.Event Promotion & Marketing Materials
Support event promotion activities by coordinating communications across social media, email, and other online channels.
Assist in the creation, adaptation, coordination, and distribution of event-related marketing materials (presentations, flyers, banners, digital assets), ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and timelines.
4.Online Campaigns
Assist in the execution of online campaigns, including scheduling and publishing social media posts, emails, and event-related digital promotions.
Support basic performance tracking (e.g. engagement, reach, lead volume) and assist with content updates or adjustments as needed.
Knowledge/Experience/Competence
1.Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, or related fields.
2.At least 1 year of experience in Marketing or the Life Sciences field (including internships or projects).
3.General Competence
Strong communication skills, both internal and external.
Project management abilities, including timeliness, checklists and logistics coordination.
Detail-oriented and proactive, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
4.Professional Competence
Fluent in English and French; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva.
Basic graphic design skills; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
