Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Credit Operations Officer. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain diverse credit and operational experience, collaborate with various teams, and develop your expertise within a dynamic banking environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60 – $27.70

Responsibilities

Review credit fulfillment documentation and process fundings.
Execute and process complex transactions, overrides, and adjustments accurately and timely.
Support partners with inbound and outbound requests, providing clear explanations and performing adjustments within authority levels.
Monitor and meet SLA commitments related to funding and operational metrics.
Refer or escalate processing issues with a thorough understanding of the root causes, liaising with appropriate teams.
Maintain compliance with internal and industry regulations, including anti-money laundering and business continuity standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in projects to enhance efficiency.
Support change management initiatives, documenting new policies or procedures as needed.
Prepare, review, and process reports related to securities, expiry forecasts, and other operational metrics.
Support securities processing by reviewing documentation and coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
Coordinate timely disbursement and resolution of funding issues, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Exercise discretion managing sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Contribute to presentations and communications for management and broader audiences.
Support risk mitigation efforts by adhering to policies and addressing escalated issues promptly.
Perform additional duties or project tasks as assigned.

Desired Skill-Set

Strong collaborative and coachable mindset.
Minimum of 3 years experience in credit operations.
Proven ability to meet SLAs consistently.
Quick learner with a customer-focused attitude.
Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
Post-secondary education preferred.

Nice to Have

Experience with banking or credit in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of securities documentation and processes.
Prior experience supporting small business banking funding processes.
Familiarity with internal policies, risk standards, and compliance regulations.
