SAP Industry Product Engineering (Life Sciences) is a global organization focused on building and operating AI‑enabled, cloud‑native products that address the complex business needs of Life Sciences customers. The team plans, designs, develops, tests, deploys, and maintains high‑quality intelligent software solutions, embedding Artificial Intelligence across the product lifecycle. With development centers worldwide, we bring together diverse expertise to deliver state‑of‑the‑art, scalable AI solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Position title: SAP iXp Intern
Associate Developer
Expected start date to end date: April 2026
Location: Newtown Square Office, PA
Contract Duration: 6 months
Working Hours: 40 hours/week
Roles and Responsibilities:
Build and deliver software products for the Life Sciences industry on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
Design and develop AI‑driven applications and agents using SAP AI technologies, including SAP Business AI and SAP Joule.
Collaborate closely with architects and engineers across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), contributing to design, development, testing, maintenance and quality assurance.
Demonstrate a strong learning mindset with a willingness to take ownership, assume responsibility, and deliver results.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline; a Master’s degree in Computer Science is highly preferred.
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
Strong technical proficiency in one or more programming languages or platforms, including Java, Node.js, Python, ABAP, HTML5, and JavaScript.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and hands-on experience in their design and development.
Solid knowledge of Large Language Model (LLM) consumption for building AI-powered applications.
Familiarity with source control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Experience in software development using cloud-native technologies across IaaS providers including SAP, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Travel Requirements: willing to travel as needed to support our product development (Max 10-20%)
