DevOps Engineer / Azure Full Stack Developer
Location: Reading (3–5 days onsite)
Contract: 6 months (initial)
Start: ASAP
Day Rate: £500–£550 (Inside IR35)
Our client is looking for an experienced Azure Full Stack Developer with strong .NET, React, and automation skills to join a fast‑growing engineering team. You’ll help design, build, and optimise secure, scalable applications on Microsoft Azure, supporting large‑scale data processing and modern cloud‑native platforms.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework and frontend features in React
Build, deploy, and automate using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code
Work across key Azure services including AKS, App Service, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, ACR, App Gateway, App Insights
Diagnose and resolve production issues, improve performance, and optimise monitoring
Integrate third‑party APIs and document architecture and technical designs
Support high‑volume data workloads and ensure secure, reliable application delivery
What you’ll bring
10+ years’ IT experience with strong hands‑on expertise in:
Azure Cloud Platform
.NET Core, C#, REST APIs, React
Azure SQL, NoSQL, Blob Storage
AKS, App Service, Azure AD
Strong CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, Git) and automation skills
IaC experience with ARM, Bicep, Terraform
Knowledge of authentication standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, MFA)
Python skills
Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and communication skills
Experience supporting production systems in enterprise environments
Bonus: familiarity with GRIB/NETCDF/Parquet/JSON, and AZ‑204 certification
