Requirements gathering experience
Story writing in Jira (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria)
Experience supporting backend service enhancements
Steering project direction (not just order-taking)
Minimal supervision – must be a self-starter

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 5+ years of relevant experience to support and drive backend service enhancements across complex initiatives. This role requires strong requirements-gathering skills and the ability to translate business needs into well-defined Jira artifacts, including epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria. The ideal candidate is comfortable steering project direction, partnering closely with technical teams and stakeholders to influence solutions rather than simply executing requests. Success in this role requires a self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision, proactively identify gaps or risks, and ensure initiatives are aligned with business objectives while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Compensation:

$50/hr to $65/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
