Experience: 10+ years (5+ years in Kafka/Streaming)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Confluent Solution Architect with strong expertise in Apache Kafka and Confluent ecosystem to design and implement scalable, real-time event streaming solutions in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect event-driven and real-time streaming solutions
Implement and manage Apache Kafka / Confluent Platform / Confluent Cloud
Build and optimize scalable data pipelines
Deploy Kafka clusters on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture teams
Ensure security, governance, monitoring, and high availability of streaming platforms

Mandatory Skills

5+ years hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Open-source / Confluent / MSK / Cloudera)
Strong experience with:
Kafka Connect
Kafka Streams
ksqlDB
Schema Registry
REST Proxy
Confluent Control Center
Strong programming skills in Java / Python / Scala
Solid understanding of event-driven architecture & streaming patterns
Cloud deployment experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk

Preferred Skills

Confluent Cloud services (ksqlDB Cloud, Apache Flink)
Stream Governance, Data Lineage, RBAC
Confluent for Kubernetes (CFK)
KRaft migration knowledge
Data lake / Data warehouse integration
Confluent Certifications (Developer/Admin/Flink)

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
