We're seeking a Senior Developer - AI for a Public Sector client (Canada Remote). This 6-month contract (extension possible) requires ServiceNow Certified professionals with 7+ years software development, 5+ years ServiceNow development (including recent AI modules), 4+ years technical lead experience, and expertise in ServiceNow AI capabilities like Virtual Agent, NLP, and Predictive Intelligence.

Location: Canada Remote

Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)

Deadline: February 20, 2026

Mandatory Certifications

ICAgile OR Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
2+ ServiceNow Implementation Specialist AND/OR ServiceNow Application Developer

Must Haves

Software development: 7+ years
ServiceNow development: 5+ years (AI modules experience within last year)
Java knowledge/understanding
Technical lead experience: 4+ years (code reviews, branch strategy, DevSecOps, team coaching)

AI Module Focus (Recent Experience Required)

Virtual Agent (conversational AI chatbots)
Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
Predictive Intelligence (classification, similarity rules)
AI Search + Performance Analytics integration

Core Responsibilities

Technical leadership: Code reviews, PR ownership, standards definition, custom frameworks, developer coaching
Agile delivery: Cross-functional team user story analysis + feature delivery
ServiceNow AI development: Custom AI platform solutions + application design/implementation
Full SDLC: Unit testing, acceptance criteria, stability testing, bug fixes
Project management: Timeline creation, development goals, technical documentation/training
Security: Application software security + integrity maintenance
