About Us

The Chelsea Psychology Clinic (TCPC) is a highly regarded mental health and wellbeing clinic that comprises a group of private psychiatrists, psychologists and other healthcare professionals. The clinic offers a space for independent, private practitioners to work together in an integrative way to provide a range of high-quality, client-focused clinical services.

TCPC was founded in 2016 by Dr Tom Pennybacker (Medical Director) and Dr Elena Touroni (Clinical Director) with four other associates based in one therapy room near Sloane Square, Chelsea. Since then, the clinic has grown considerably with an ever-growing number of associates based across five sites – Harley Street, Eaton Gate, Pont Street, Brook Street and High Street Kensington. The Clinic also offers large provision of online therapy.

What does a front desk administrator do at the Chelsea Psychology Clinic?

As a Front Desk Administrator, you are the first point of contact for our clients, helping to create a calm, welcoming, and professional experience both in person at reception and over the phone. You play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic by managing front desk operations and assisting the team with wider administrative duties.

This role would suit someone with an interest in psychology or mental health who is organised, proactive, and comfortable balancing client-facing responsibilities with behind-the-scenes administrative work. It offers valuable exposure to working in a busy, client-focused mental health clinic alongside experienced clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming clients on arrival, confirming appointments, and liaising with clinicians to ensure a smooth and professional client journey.
Managing and actioning shared administrative email inboxes, responding directly to enquiries and escalating issues where appropriate.
Assisting with phone lines, responding to current client queries and directing calls appropriately.
Providing administrative support to the Executive Assistant, Clinical Triage Team, and our clinicians, including document formatting, correspondence support, data entry, and time-sensitive tasks.
Supporting the coordination of clinic CPD events, socials, and other clinic events.
Assisting with day-to-day office support across clinic locations, including monitoring stock and resources, identifying issues as they arise, and liaising with relevant contacts to ensure clinics run smoothly.
Assisting with internal systems and processes to support the smooth running of day-to-day clinic operations.

Who We’re Looking For

We want to hear from individuals who:

Have at least one year’s experience in an administrative role (2+ years preferred).

Have experience in a healthcare setting (private sector preferred).

Appreciate patient care and understand the importance of confidentiality.

Have a working understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles (e.g. Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles, GDPR).

Are computer literate, with accurate data entry skills and attention to detail.

Demonstrate a professional and cooperative attitude towards clients and colleagues.

Are confident, able to remain calm under pressure and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Essential Requirements:

Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
Ability to reliably commute to all clinic locations.
Successful applicants will be required to obtain a DBS check prior to starting the role.

Interview Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete video responses to screening questions.
Successful candidates from this stage will then be invited to a face-to-face interview.

We receive a high volume of applications. If you do not hear from us within three weeks, please assume that you have not been successful on this occasion.
