WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

As an Onboarding Project Manager at SimCorp, you will play a key role in enabling some of the world’s largest financial institutions to smoothly transition to our Azure-hosted SaaS platform. You will lead end‑to‑end infrastructure onboarding projects across the Americas, coordinating closely with Sales, Consulting Services, SaaS Onboard Operations, and SaaS Innovations teams to design, build, deploy, and launch client environments. By managing client engagement, resources, finances, and complex stakeholders, you will ensure smooth go‑lives, reduced risk, and effective customer outcomes—while being supported by a global community of Project Management professionals as you grow your career at SimCorp.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Managing all aspects of the SimCorp Infrastructure Onboarding process: Delivering projects using our standard agile methods across all project phases including Dawn, Design, Swarm, Develop, Deploy, Dissect and Deliver through client Go-live
Managing multiple Onboarding projects and related workstreams - identifying all required tasks, dependencies, and time/resource estimations as well as providing regular status updates
Managing handovers from Sales to Onboarding and from Onboarding to Run Operations from an infrastructure perspective
Facilitating business requirements gathering workshops
Contributing to improvement and documentation of best practices for Onboarding projects globally in collaboration with Global PMO
Creating and maintaining required project artefacts such as project plan, reports and RAID log, status reports and the change management process
Effectively monitoring customer feedback and reporting
Consistently identifying and mitigating risk
Motivating the project team and ensuring continuous improvement within the team
Maintaining and updating project standard artifacts, processes and procedures

What We Value

Experience in delivering multi-stream infrastructure platform projects as well as migration and transformation projects in complex business environments
A very good understanding of financial technology and business processes, especially with asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies or large banks
Familiar with Software As A Service (SaaS) and in the context of setting up hosted cloud environments. Previous work with MS Azure is a plus.
Current PMI/PMP certification or sit for exam within 12-24 months of hire
Knowledge and experience in the Investment Management/Asset Management/Financial Services industries
Familiarity with implementation focused projects in the Financial Technology sector is a plus
Great communication skills
Willingness to travel to client sites in Americas from time to time.
Coming to the SimCorp office (2 days a week)

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000

CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
