Description
Bond is looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships to own and grow our commercial partnership function. This role sits at the intersection of business acumen and operational execution, a combination that is central to Bond's growth strategy and rare to find.
You will report directly to the CEO and start as a team of one, taking ownership of a function currently managed at the executive level. The expectation is straightforward: prove your execution, then build and lead a team.
You are equally comfortable in a strategic conversation with a Fortune 500 partner and in the details of a campaign build or account journey. You think commercially, operate with precision, and perform well when things are fast and uncertain.
We work hard and move fast, and we take care of the people who do. Bond promotes from within and the people who perform grow here.
What You'll Do
Own Bond's global partnerships function and serve as a key external representative with enterprise partners
Act as executive sponsor in high-stakes customer meetings, representing Bond with confidence and strategic clarity
Develop and execute account strategies for enterprise and resale partnerships including home security companies, financial institutions, travel platforms, and global brands
Build and manage landing page strategy, customer journey mapping, and partner campaign execution for resale and white-label opportunities
Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities across domestic markets and internationally across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC
Stay current on deal history, pipeline status, and partner context to operate fluidly across all business conversations
Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Field Operations, and the CEO to align partnership strategy with company priorities
Build KPIs and reporting structures for partnership performance, growing into full team leadership as execution is proven
Be available across time zones and responsive when deals and partners require it
Contribute beyond your core function — this is a startup and the people who grow here are the ones who show up for the broader mission
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
6 or more years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial sales
4 or more years closing or materially advancing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with enterprise clients
3 or more years managing end-to-end projects or account campaigns with measurable commercial outcomes
A track record of generating pipeline and closing deals with quantifiable results such as revenue generated, partnerships signed, or markets entered
Experience in modern high-technology sectors including SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, insurtech, or enterprise software. Backgrounds in food, transportation, real estate, or non-technology industries will not be considered
Proven ability to present and pitch at the C-suite level at global organizations
Operational background with clear evidence of leading complex workflows from start to finish, on time and on target
Strong proficiency with CRM platforms, data tools, and communication and presentation software. Written and verbal communication must be sharp
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%, including EMEA, LATAM, and APAC
Based in the tristate area and able to be onsite when needed
Additional Preferred Qualifications
MBA from a strong business program
Experience at companies known for operational rigor such as Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, or high-growth tech firms
International sales or partnership experience with cross-cultural deal exposure
Military background or experience in high-accountability environments

Compensation
Base salary is $180,000 to $200,000. On-target earnings are $350,000, with significant upside in cash and equity tied directly to deal performance. Compensation is flexible based on individual needs and the right candidate's situation
