Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid)

Department: Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform Engineering

Interview process – #2 rounds

Role Summary

Platform Enablement Engineers to stand up and roll out Microsoft Fabric as an enterprise service in a regulated financial services environment. This is a platform engineering / DevOps-first role (not a generic DevOps or Fabric developer role), focused on CI/CD, automation, Compliance-as-Code, and SaaS-style certification/assurance so product teams can onboard safely and at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and operationalize Fabric tenant settings aligned to security, risk, and operational requirements.
Build reusable CI/CD patterns (strong preference for GitHub Actions) and promotion controls across environments.
Automate provisioning/configuration using Terraform/Bicep and scripting (PowerShell/Python).
Implement Compliance-as-Code guardrails, policy controls, and audit-ready operational standards.
Align platform security to enterprise baselines (e.g., Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark).
Enable secure connectivity patterns including VNet Data Gateway where required.
Support Fabric usage patterns including OneLake and Shortcuts; produce onboarding playbooks, templates, and reference implementations.
Establish service operations: monitoring, logging, alerting, runbooks, and incident readiness.

Required Qualifications

5+ years in DevOps/platform/infrastructure engineering in large-scale enterprise environments (regulated preferred).
Strong Azure platform operations experience (policies, resource controls, automation).
Hands-on CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions preferred; Azure DevOps acceptable).
Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform and/or Bicep).
Experience with security controls: RBAC, least privilege, audit logging, monitoring/observability.
Experience supporting compliance/certification processes and implementing Compliance-as-Code.

Nice to Have

Experience certifying/assuring Fabric or Power Platform services in regulated environments.
Experience with VNet Data Gateway and private connectivity architectures.
Familiarity with OneLake, Shortcuts, Purview/governance patterns, and platform SRE practices.
