Job Specifications
Our client is currently seeking Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, governance, and operation of enterprise network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments, ensuring security, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage network architectures for on‑premises and cloud environments.
Own network governance, compliance, and lifecycle management (routing, switching, firewalls, cloud networking).
Lead network changes and ensure alignment with security and governance frameworks (e.g., NIST, COBIT).
Develop technical designs, implementation plans, and documentation.
Coordinate complex projects with engineering teams, vendors, and carriers.
Lead vulnerability management, compliance audits, and remediation efforts.
Support business continuity planning and provide on‑call operational support.
Maintain accurate inventories, configuration baselines, and audit documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in network, infrastructure, or cloud operations.
Advanced experience with enterprise networking technologies (DNS/IPAM, firewalls, NAC, load balancing, DDoS, NTP).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Python, GitHub).
Experience building cloud infrastructure in AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated environments using frameworks such as NIST or COBIT.
Knowledge of IT risk, controls, audits, and remediation.
Experience with Cisco IOS/NX‑OS, GRC tools (e.g., Archer), and CIS Benchmarks.
Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CCNP/CCDP; CCIE preferred).
Rate: $60-80/HR
