We're working with a leading academic institution and public sector powerhouse on this exciting opportunity.

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver ready to kickstart your career in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to provide high-quality Technical Support across a diverse campus, mastering tools like Microsoft 365 and ITSM ticketing systems to keep operations running smoothly.

The Role

Act as the first point of contact for IT Support, managing a high volume of requests via phone, digital ticketing platforms, and in-person desks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues involving Desktop Software, Windows OS, and hardware connectivity.
Manage your own ticket queue within an ITSM framework, ensuring all actions and resolutions are documented with precision.
Collaborate with a close-knit technical team to escalate complex network or software bugs while maintaining excellent user communication.
Support a massive user base of students and staff, ensuring seamless access to digital learning tools and university systems.

What You'll Need

Proven experience in an IT Service Desk, Helpdesk, or customer-facing Technical Support environment.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and general Desktop Support troubleshooting techniques.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical jargon into user-friendly advice.
Experience using Digital Ticketing Systems (ITSM) to track and resolve incidents and service requests.
A proactive "can-do" attitude with the ability to work independently in a busy, high-pressure environment.

What's On Offer

Competitive hourly rate of £14 - £17 per hour depending on experience.
Immediate start on a full-time contract running through to May.
