Freelance Data Quality & Reporting Specialist

Our client in the insurance sector is looking for a Data Quality and Reporting Specialist to join on a long term, freelance basis.

They are increasing their data quality and strengthening data management practices to support decision-making, reporting, and operations. A data quality framework and Power BI reporting setup are already in place for one domain and project. This role will extend this approach to additional domains and project phases, while maintaining and improving the current setup.

You will work within a transformation team and interact with data governance, business stakeholders, and data engineering teams. The role requires coordination, planning, and execution across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage stakeholders across business and IT
Define data quality plans aligned with project phases
Analyze and profile datasets to identify data elements and define quality rules
Work with data stewards, custodians, and domain owners on data definitions and controls
Develop and maintain Power BI reports for data quality monitoring
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts on data pipelines and reporting
Translate data quality results into actions and support remediation
Maintain and extend the existing data quality framework

Profile

6+ years of experience in data analysis or data quality
Experience working in complex data environments
Strong understanding of data quality principles and processes
Proficiency in Power BI and SQL
Ability to translate data insights into business impact
