Are you passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential? Great, so are we!

We have a vacancy for a Band 7 talented Physiotherapist to join our friendly, dedicated community teams; helping to ensure that our children and young people in East Sussex get the start in life that they deserve. We are looking for a Physiotherapist who can work between 0.5 WTE and 0.6 WTE.

We have three clinical bases, but you will be expected to travel within East Sussex to meet the needs of the caseload.

You’ll be joining a service which is directly integrated with Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists, working in clinics, schools, nurseries and family homes. We are devoted to supporting children through holistic care. The work is varied, interesting, and very fulfilling.

Please note, this vacancy does not meet the criteria for skilled worker sponsorship and therefore, we are unable to accept applications from candidates that cannot provide documentary evidence of right to work in the United Kingdom.

Whilst carrying a specialist caseload of children you will also have a leadership role within the team.

We are looking with someone who can support our changing approaches to allocation to make the experience of our service users more streamlined and the experience of our therapists more fulfilling.

You would also become involved in the set up of a new clinic system to roll out CPIPSE assessments.

The induction we offer to all new colleagues includes regular meetings with your line manager, clinical supervision and appraisals, as well as internal and external training opportunities. We will encourage you to participate in service improvement groups and evidence-based practice, and we’ll support you to develop your clinical skills to work with a varied paediatric caseload. You will be surrounded by a team with a wide base of experience and clinical interests.

We welcome flexible working arrangements and do our best to offer a range of hours to ensure your work-life balance is supported, whilst delivering the best care to our patients.

East Sussex boasts exceptional countryside, with vibrant coastal towns and easy access to the rest of the country via regular rail services in and out of London.

Rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC, we’ve got a passion for delivering high standards of patient care and excellent services to improve the health of our communities. To do this we need outstanding people who share our values compassionate Aspirational Responsive Excellent
