Meeting Room Support Specialist
**Role Summary**
Provide end‑to‑end support, maintenance, and enhancement of meeting room technology across multi‑OEM environments (Crestron, Lenovo, Cisco, Polycom). Manage daily operations, troubleshoot incidents, lead builds, upgrades, and automation projects, and ensure a seamless collaboration experience for users.
**Expectations**
- 3+ years of hands‑on support for AV collaboration systems in a multi‑vendor environment.
- Strong troubleshooting under live pressure with clear communication to users, vendors, and cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to design, configure, deploy, and validate meeting rooms and integration with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) to automate configuration, monitoring, and updates.
- Commitment to proactive monitoring, inventory management, and staying current with OEM updates and industry best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Deliver daily operational support for video conferencing, AV equipment, and control systems; serve as primary escalation point.
2. Plan, design, configure, test, and deploy new or upgraded meeting rooms, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
3. Support new demand projects (builds, expansions, relocations) and maintain detailed design, configuration, and upgrade documentation.
4. Automate provisioning, firmware updates, device checks, and performance analysis using PowerShell or Python.
5. Integrate meeting room systems with enterprise monitoring, management, and ITSM platforms.
6. Provide user training, quick‑guide documentation, and responsive support.
7. Monitor system health, maintain asset inventory, and recommend lifecycle management actions.
**Required Skills**
- Core AV collaboration knowledge: video conferencing, AV control, hardware/software integration.
- Multi‑vendor experience: Crestron, Lenovo, Cisco, Polycom.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Python (automation, monitoring, updates).
- Troubleshooting under live‑meeting pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative team player.
- Familiarity with bridging VLANs/QoS for AV traffic.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring and device‑management platforms.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- OEM certifications preferred: Crestron, Cisco, Polycom or equivalent.
- ITIL Foundation certification or experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
