**Job Title:** Power BI / Data Scientist – AI & Analytics **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise‑grade Power BI solutions while integrating AI capabilities through Microsoft Fabric. Build AI‑ready semantic models, linguistic schemas, and natural‑language data agents to deliver intuitive, data‑driven insights for business users. **Expectations:** - **First 90 days:** Establish relationships with technology and business stakeholders; acquire knowledge of existing data, applications, and infrastructure. - **6 months:** Own delivery of reporting and data solutions; deploy initial AI‑driven analytics and natural‑language querying capabilities. - **12 months:** Gain strong user trust; demonstrate measurable business impact via AI‑enhanced data curation, reporting, and insight generation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX and Power Query. - Curate, transform, and optimize data within Microsoft Fabric OneLake, ensuring integrity and performance. - Build and configure Fabric Data Agents to enable natural‑language Q&A access to enterprise data. - Develop and import Linguistic Schemas to improve AI comprehension of business terminology. - Prepare datasets for generative AI and natural‑language consumption. - Refine semantic models with AI instructions, example prompts, synonyms, and metadata to improve response accuracy and relevance. - Collaborate with IT, software development, and cloud operations teams to align solutions with technical standards. - Translate business requirements into scalable, technical implementations. **Required Skills:** - 8–10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and report development. - Expert proficiency with Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and modern data platforms, especially Microsoft Fabric. - Hands‑on experience creating AI‑ready semantic models, linguistic schemas, and natural‑language data agents. - Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and software development lifecycle. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Ability to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field (required). - Advanced degree (M.S. or equivalent) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer, AI Engineer) preferred.
