Job Description
**Job Title:** Lead Telecommunications Engineer **Role Summary:** Senior technical leader responsible for the end-to-end design, specification, and delivery of telecommunications systems for oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical projects. Provides expert guidance on telecom architecture, equipment selection, and integration while ensuring compliance with industry standards, project quality, and safety requirements. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality telecom solutions that meet project scope, budget, and timeline. - Demonstrate ownership of technical outcomes, mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvement. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of telecom standards, vendor technologies, and industry best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and review telecom design documents: design basis, specifications, datasheets, BOMs, equipment layouts, cable schedules, and schematics. - Perform calculations and design reviews for CCTV, PAGA, radio, and telephone systems. - Guide engineering of field equipment (cameras, speakers, call stations, turnstiles, barriers, hotlines, analogue phones). - Oversee telecom network architecture and interface layouts. - Evaluate vendor documentation, quotations, and installation designs for compliance and quality. - Support procurement, cost estimation, bid evaluation, and proposal development. - Conduct inter‑disciplinary checks, shop inspections, FAT/SAT, site surveys, and pre‑commissioning activities. - Execute technical audits and quality reviews, ensuring adherence to HSE norms and project risk assessments. - Mentor and train junior staff and deliver technical training sessions. **Required Skills:** - Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities. - In‑depth knowledge of international telecom standards, codes, and best practices. - Expertise in telecom workflows, network architecture, and interdisciplinary coordination. - Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and vendor‑specific tools (e.g., CCTV, PAGA coverage, RF tools). - Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues. - Proactive, adaptable, client‑focused project delivery mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or related field. - Professional certifications in telecommunications or relevant industry standards (e.g., CCNA, CISCO, or equivalent) preferred.

**Job title:** QA/QC Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) **Role Summary:** Oversee quality assurance and control for mechanical and electrical systems on large‑scale construction projects, including data centres.
