**Job Title:** Fractional DTC Operations Lead | Water Tech
**Role Summary:**
Own and scale the entire direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) business line for a Belgian WaterTech startup, driving operations and growth from production to customer experience. Working 3+ years in early‑stage or scale‑up DTC environments, you will execute a full‑spectrum strategy that increases sales to 10,000 units by 2026. Freelance or independent contractor, the role offers autonomy, direct founder collaboration, and potential for growth.
**Expectations:**
- Operate on a fractional basis with flexibility (remote/hybrid).
- Deliver measurable growth, targeting 10k units sold in 2026.
- Own end‑to‑end DTC processes: manufacturing, fulfillment, e‑commerce, pricing, marketing, CRM.
- Provide data‑driven decisions and continuous optimisation.
- Communicate progress and results to the founder and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Manufacturing Coordination:** Manage relationships with external partners to ensure production schedules, quality, cost, and compliance.
- **Fulfilment Strategy:** Design, implement, and oversee 3PL operations, shipping processes, returns, and inventory management.
- **E‑commerce Management:** Own the entire e‑commerce stack: platform, logistics, checkout flows, and optimisation.
- **CRM & Segmentation:** Deploy and manage CRM tools; create customer segmentation for targeted growth.
- **Pricing & Bundling:** Define and adjust pricing models, product bundles, and revenue mechanics.
- **Community Marketing:** Lead community‑driven marketing initiatives, avoiding mass‑market campaigns.
- **Daily Ops Oversight:** Monitor and troubleshoot day‑to‑day operations, ensuring service levels and KPIs are met.
**Required Skills:**
- Minimum 3 years of DTC operations experience, preferably with physical consumer products.
- Strong operational mindset: able to execute, make decisions, and own outcomes.
- Experience in manufacturing partnership, 3PL, and fulfillment logistics.
- Proficiency with e‑commerce platforms, order management systems, and analytics tooling.
- Competence in CRM implementation and customer segmentation.
- Pricing, bundling, and revenue optimisation expertise.
- Community marketing strategy and implementation.
- Structured, pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach.
- Fluency in English.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- No mandatory certifications required; relevant industry credentials (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are a plus.
