JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Web Specialist for a hybrid 5 month contract in Surrey, BC. This resource will be responsible for managing and enhancing intranet content through expert-level HTML/CSS coding, precise formatting, and adherence to branding standards. This role ensures secure and structured access by configuring user permissions and maintaining content governance across departments. The specialist supports stakeholders through training, troubleshooting, and collaborative workshops, while also contributing to digital employee engagement via notification systems and proactive content updates. A keen eye for detail and strong communication skills are essential to keep the intranet polished, consistent, and aligned with organizational goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Strong SharePoint skills

* 2+ years of related work experience

* Experience in website infrastructure, operations, and design

* Proficiency in HTML/CSS

* Skilled in user permissions and access control

* Knowledge of content governance best practices

* Effective stakeholder communication and support

* Managing intranet updates and net new content requests

* Proficiency with the Igloo platform

* Ability to balance existing updates with new requests

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Igloo Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with Igloo Software's backend administration tools for configuring pages, widgets, and site settings (effectively managing the intranet's technical setup)
